Milltown Alumni returns to his roots to refresh our Learning Garden
Boy Scout and Milltown School graduate Sohum Shahri returned to his old stomping grounds and brought some buddies. Using their muscles and teamwork, current Mountain Lions, graduates, and Boy Scouts brought our learning garden back to life. This was the first day of their project and they spent hours working side by side with parents weeding, cleaning, and preparing our garden for a Fall planting later this month.
Dr. Lembo, Principal of Milltown School stated "it was with great pride and appreciation I had the chance to spend time with this wonderful group. It was truly amazing watching the team put so much time into the project, I can't wait for the planting! Milltown is very lucky to have so many children and parents who take such pride in our school!"

A ball of fun during a challenge took over the gymnasium at the Milltown Primary School during the week of September 23.
According to Bryan Smith, a Physical Education Teacher at Milltown along with Shannon Chartowich, the challenge involves playing skee ball.
“This week we were working on our rolling skills by playing skee ball challenge. Students roll a ball to the target cone in their zone. When they land the ball at the cone they move it toward their opponent,” Mr. Smith explained.
He added.
“Once the cone gets to their opponent's side they win. This is a high-energy game full of fun and excitement, the kids absolutely love playing here at Milltown School.”
