A splendid performance by students who have grown into their roles was celebrated by the Hillside Intermediate School community on both Wednesday, January 15 and Thursday, January 16.
The Hillside Chorus Concert was presented by the 5th Grade on the first evening of January 15 and then the 6th Grade vocalists took center stage on January 16.
Both concerts were enjoyed by an overflowing crowd of family and friends in Hillside’s gymnasium.
The man behind this highly successful program at Hillside is Tony Sgro, the school’s dedicated and energetic Choral Director.
“The 5th and 6th grade Winter Chorus Concert was a wonderful celebration of music, growth, and community,” Mr. Sgro said.
He shared how impressed he was with the delivery of his students.
“Watching our young singers perform with such enthusiasm and confidence was truly inspiring. This event showcased not only their talent but also their hard work and dedication,” he said.
Mr. Sgro concluded:
I’m incredibly proud of all the students for bringing the spirit of the season to life through music."
