The American Heart Association, in collaboration with KPMG, presented a grant to the Milltown Primary School on Friday, May 8.
Katie Farina, the Development Director, School Engagement for the American Heart Association, presented a $160 US Games grant to Milltown Principal Dr. Matt Lembo on that Friday, May. 8.
Milltown was selected as one of only 60 schools on the East Coast, proudly representing the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District.
The grant is in recognition of the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District’s participation in the Kids Heart Challenge and American Heart Challenge.
Ms. Farina spoke about the grant.
“This grant reflects the school community's incredible efforts to promote heart health and wellness among students- and it's my honor to help pass along this support as a representative of KPMG. We are so appreciative of all the efforts put into your (BRRSD) Wellness Week.”
